Drake received a wonderful New Years gift Wednesday morning (Jan. 4) with the announcement of 12 nominations he garnered for the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Drizzy’s nods include Song of the Year for "One Dance" (featuring Wizkid and Kyla), Male Artist of the Year and Hip-Hop Artist of the Year.

Drake pretty much owns the Hip-Hop Song of the Year category as he’s mentioned three times for "One Dance,” "Controlla" and his guest feature on DJ Khaled's "For Free.” Fat Joe & Remy Ma and Desiigner are also nominated in this category for “All the Way Up” and “Panda,” respectively.

Other nominees included Rihanna with 10 nods, Justin Bieber with nine mentions and Beyonce with four nominations, including R&B Song of the Year for "Sorry."

In addition to the nominees, Bruno Mars is the first artist to agree to perform at the all-star event, which honors the music heard across iHeartMedia radio stations over the past year. The organizers also have added 10 new categories including Best New Pop Artist, Best New R&B Artist and Best New Hip-Hop Artist.

The 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards will air live from Los Angeles on March 5 at 8 p.m. on TBS, TNT and truTV.
