Drake keeps on winning and winning. The 2017 Billboard Music Awards hasn’t even started yet and already the rap superstar nabbed 10 early trophies on Sunday (May 21).

Drizzy leads the pack of nominees with 22 nominations. Some of the OVO Sound leader’s early wins included Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top R&B Song for “One Dance” and Top Rap Album for Views.

Although Drake has won nearly half of his nominations, he still has a chance to win several more awards in other categories like Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Song and more (see the winners list below).

In addition, Drake will perform at the BBMAs, which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It will be his first time performing at an awards show since joining Rihanna for "Work" at the 2016 BRITs Awards.

Billboard Music Awards's executive producer Mark Bracco wouldn't divulge on what song or songs Drake will perform tonight, but he did promise that Drizzy's performance will be one of the biggest moments on the show.

"You know, Drake does not perform on television very often so I think whenever he does it's a real event," he told Billboard magazine. "We built a real terrific relationship with his team, working creatively with them and coming up with a big idea, and I think it's gonna be a very, very big moment in the show. It's not a surprise necessarily but it's gonna be a moment that people aren't exactly expecting.... It'll be memorable, I promise you that."

Also, fellow rap artist Nicki Minaj will open the Billboard Music Awards tonight. Overall, this will be a big night for Lil Wayne's two superstar acts on his Young Money label.

The 2017 Billboard Music Awards, with hosts Ludacris and Vanessa Hudgens, will air live from Las Vegas at 8PM ET on ABC.
