Welcome to Triple-A baseball Rafael Devers! In his first game as a Pawtucket Red Sox, Devers went 4-for-4 with two RBI to help the PawSox win 7-4 over Syracuse.

Devers hit singles in the 2nd and 5th innings. In the sixth, he ripped a double. And then in the 8th, Devers jacked a 2-run homer off lefty Neal Cotts. The ball hit the light tower in rightfield.

At 20-years-old, Devers is the third youngest position player to play for the PawSox.

Combining his numbers from last night with his Portland Sea Dogs numbers, Devers is hitting .309 with 19 home runs and 58 RBI (291 AB).

The young third baseman is the Sox #1 prospect and is ranked #6 in all of baseball by Baseball America.
