Rihanna’s third annual Diamond Ball event will feature plenty of laughs and great music. RiRi has tapped Dave Chappelle to host the charity event and Kendrick Lamar will rock the microphone.

The shindig will take place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Sept. 14. The black-tie affair will help raise funds for Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation, which she founded in 2012. The foundation's aim is to help improve the quality of life in health, education, arts and culture in communities around the world, and was named after her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite.

‎"I’m thrilled that the incomparable Dave Chappelle will kick things off as the official host of this year’s Diamond Ball and Kendrick Lamar will take the stage for an unforgettable performance,” said Rihanna said in a statement (via Billboard). “I’m proud of the Clara Lionel Foundation’s significant impact in the world over the years and deeply grateful for the continued support and commitment to advancing our mission.”

Past Diamond Balls featured performances from soul legend Lionel Richie and in-demand rapper Big Sean. At the 2015 Diamond Ball, Rihanna raised $3 million for her foundation.
