Donald Glover took the television world by storm this fall with his FX series Atlanta which wrapped up its first season just last week (Nov. 1). The series was applauded for its tonal shifts, surreal take on current events and stellar soundtrack, and has been a huge hit for FX, setting the record for viewership for a cable comedy series premiere, with 1.8 million total viewers.

And based on some sleuthing, it seems Glover's musical persona, Childish Gambino, is set to make a similar play, with a previously unmentioned album appearing on Amazon Canada for preorder. Awaken, My Love! is listed with a Dec. 2 release date, the below image, grabbed from FYE, advertising the same.

It seems like users on the Donald Glover subreddit might have also uncovered the album cover. In a scene from the season finale of Atlanta, an image that looks a lot like a vinyl record is seen multiple times, at one point appearing to be wrapped in plastic and wearing some sort of sticker. Glover wore that same image on a t-shirt when he appeared on James Corden's late night show, and Reddit users are speculating that it's the cover for Awaken, My Love! See the images below.

Gambino has not released a project since dropping STN MTN and Kauai on consecutive days in October of 2014. He performed new music at a show dubbed Pharos at Joshua Tree in early September, many taking that to be the title of any upcoming release. Speaking with Jimmy Fallon beforehand, Glover confirmed he would be performing new music, saying, "I have all these songs and I want people to feel like it felt to be in them."

XXL has reached out to Glover's representatives to confirm the new album and release date.
