Charles Fortier highlights 100 years of the Market Square in Houlton, Maine with specific focus on the beloved Temple Theatre/ Cinema in his latest video seen here.

The Temple Theatre, in Houlton, first opened in 1919 in what was a newly-built Masonic Temple.

Originally, the Theatre had box seats and a huge balcony, or mezzanine, and was a great place to take in a show.

Because of the age of the theatre, much repair was needed and in 2002 the new owners had renovated the inside and now seats about 200 people in each auditorium.
