CeeLo Green Drops Video for “F*#k Me, I’m Famous” as Gnarly Davidson

CeeLo Green once again mixes his pop sensibilities with his taste for the explicit with his new song and video for "F*** Me, I'm Famous." Green doesn't ever really appear in the video, though there's good reason to thin the's the pixelated figure in the background, and really releases the song as Gnarly Davidson, an alter-ego that would figure to play in some part off his band with Danger Mouse, Gnarls Barkley.

It's unclear whether the tyke in the video is meant to represent Gnarly Davidson beyond just this song, and the alias's social accounts don't offer much in the way of clues. The profile pictures are blank for the time being, though the Twitter account was created in October and follows 10 other users, what appears to be a highly random selection.

In a Facebook post earlier in the week, Green explained the footage that had surfaced of a cell phone nearly taking his head off when it spontaneously exploded. "What you saw today, he says, "was a clip from a smaller video that we were shooting for a new project I’m doing called Gnarly Davidson. It’s supposed to set up and introduce the new character identity." Green as well said he is well and thanked those who expressed their concern upon seeing the clip.
