James Corden's Carpool Karaoke series took a respite from the road in favor of a street-side jam band performance on last night's (May 16) installment.

Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, whose Future Now tour kicks off in Florida in June, spent the final minutes of the fan-favorite Late Late Show segment on a Hollywood sidewalk. After making a pit-stop in the clip above, the group finds a spot outside and starts giggin' — Jonas strums on the guitar and Corden taps away at a pair of home-supply store buckets while Lovato belts out "Confident." Soon, crowds collect until the whole thing's a verifiable singalong.

While Corden's convinced his contributions have earned him a third spot on the tour, Jonas isn't quite as sure.

"I think we should circle back in maybe a year once the tour's done, right, Demi?" he says.

"I have nothing to say," she dismisses.

"It was electric!" Corden pleads. "I heard someone say 'I normally hate [Jonas and Lovato] but with him it's amazing."

Also amazing: Lovato's earlier ribbing of Jonas, her friend of 10 years, whose purity ring she mocks and whose cyclical relationships with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez she finds hilarious. Jonas finally admits that he didn't forfeit his vows of chastity until further down the line, though.

"I had a real relationship with an adult and I fell in love actually," he says. "And then I decided it was time to take the purity ring off."

Watch a small-scale preview of Nick and Demi's concert series above, which also includes bits of "Stone Cold," "Jealous" and "Heart Attack."
