A car caught on fire after a rear-end collision on I-95 in Hampden Thursday night.

Police said 19-year-old Anthony Hodge of Gorham was distracted by his cell phone when he hit a Dodge Dakota driven by 32-year-old Frank Corso from Florida.

Corso, his wife, and infant daughter all had non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center, said officials.

Trooper Dave Yankowksy heard the accident as he was parked in a cross-over nearby. He was the first to respond.

Hodge was charged for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.

The northbound lane was shut down for about an hour.
