The Boston Bruins really did everything but win last night in Philadelphia. They dominated the shots in regulation. Ditto in overtime. And, had the better chances in the shootout.

But when they skated off the ice, the Flyers had a 3-2 shootout win. The B's get one point in the standings for the regulation tie.

Philly scored two first period goals and the Bruins spent the rest of the night peppering Flyers goalie Steve Mason. 47 shots in regulation and finally getting the game tied in the third period on goals by Dave Krejci and Brad Marchand.

Boston outshot the Flyers 6-1 in OT.

And then in the shootout, it took nine rounds for Philly to win and get the extra point in the standings.
