Bridgewater, ME – The Bridgewater Fire Department tested 4 of their newest members this weekend with classroom and hands on skills objectives that prepares them for safe careers in the fire service.

According to Matthew Powers, Training Officer with the Bridgewater Fire Department, Mike Bradstreet, Derek Rusby, Reid Bradstreet, and Scott Belair passed a 2 day, 10 hour final evaluation that tested skills ranging from emergency communication, to interior fire attack.

The evaluation comes after many training sessions this spring where the members learned to work in teams to accomplish fire-ground goals in a safe and competent manor.
