The victim is identified as 61-year-old Keith Suitter, who lived alone at his mobile home on Hillview Avenue, according to Public Safety department Spokesman Steve McCausland.

Suitter's body was discovered by a friend who had gone to check on him after Suitter's pickup truck was found stuck in a snow bank about a half-mile from Suitter's home late Sunday night.

Detectives are asking for information from anyone who had seen Suitter over the weekend or his pickup truck, which is a red Ford 150.  An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning at the State Medical Examiner's Office. The truck will be transported to the State Police crime lab in Augusta.

Detectives spent Monday gathering evidence from the scene where the truck had gone off the road and from Suitter's home on Hillview Avenue.  Suitter had reportedly lived at the mobile home for the past 20 years.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the State Police barracks in Houlton at 532-5400.
