When news surfaced that Beyoncé's critically acclaimed visual album, Lemonade was up for four awards at the 2016 Emmys, most people probably assumed that she would snag at least one trophy.

Unfortunately for the singer, that wasn't the case. In fact, Bey lost out in all four categories, including the award for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, which went to directors Thomas Hail and Alex Rudzinski for Grease: Live.

Right away, which really isn't surprising, the Beyhive took to social media and not only expressed their disappointment that their Queen didn't win but their utter confusion.

"So I'm trying to understand why I sat here for three hours for my queen not to win," wrote one Beyoncé fan. "In other news, Grease Live just beat Lemonade," another person tweeted. "I'm done with life for the week."

There were also a number of clever memes that fans posted, including the Kardashian matriarch Kris holding up a gun, Real Housewife NeNe Leakes telling someone off and talk show host Wendy Williams shedding tears.

"Lemonade was a masterpiece. I don't care what the Emmys say. Beyoncé did that," one meme read.

You can see other messages from the Beyhive below, who probably won't stop expressing their dissatisfaction for at least the next couple of days.
