As the Boston Bruins prep for tonight's game four in the playoff series with Toronto, the NHL has announced that Patrice Bergeron is a finalist for the Selke Trophy for a record breaking 7th straight year.

The Selke Award goes to the best defensive forward in the league. Bergeron has won the honor in four of the six years he's been a finalist.

Bergeron's competition is Flyers forward Sean Couturier and Kings forward Anze Kopitar.

Bergeron won a league-high 58% of faceoffs when the B's were shorthanded. He won 57% of his total faceoffs. That's 6th in the league. Bergeron scored 30 goals and had 33 assists during the regular season.

The Selke Trophy and all of the NHL awards will be handed out on June 20th.
