New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick was in rare form on Tuesday morning’s press conference when fielding questions from the media about the health of his quarterbacks.

Dave Brown of the Concord Monitor pressed Belichick about the health of Jimmy Garoppolo and whether or not Julian Edelman would be considered as a back-up should Jacoby Brissett go down with an injury.  The Head Coach met the question with his usual wry response and even provided the gem of a quote of, “I’m a football coach, not a doctor”.  Brown due the ire of Belichick this summer after asking if Garoppolo played well during Tom Brady's suspension whether he would keep the starting role.

The Pats will be without Brady again because he is still serving his four game suspension and Garoppolo will be limited, if able to play at all, due to a strained AC join in his throwing shoulder.  Brissett will likely be starting and Edelman has been viewed as the emergency QB for the team’s game against the Houston Texans on Thursday night.
