UMaine hockey scored a Saturday night come-from-behind 4-2 win over RPI to make it an opening weekend sweep of the Engineers.

The Black Bears trailed 2-1 after two periods at Alfond Arena. That's when Daniel Perez and Mitchell Fossier scored to give UMaine the lead 3-2.

Chase Pearson added a empty net goal in the final seconds to make the final score 4-2.

UM goalie Rob McGovern made 39 saves.

The 2-0 Black Bears host Quinnipiac on Friday and Saturday nights at Alfond. The Bobcats are ranked #2 in the nation and are coming off a win and a tie over Northeastern.
