Barbecue and History Presentation Planned for Easton Little School

The Little School Restoration Committee in Easton is inviting the public to a presentation on the history of The Little School, followed by a barbecue and music in the Little School Community Park on Saturday, August 20th.

The presentation on the school’s history will begin at 4:00 p.m in the former grade two room at the school, located at 51 Station Road in Easton. The presentation will include many pictures and information about the school gleaned from more than forty years of Easton town reports. Admission is free.

The barbecue and music in the park will follow the historical presentation at 5:00 pm. Music will be provided by Mark Shaw, an alumnus of The Little School.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, soda and water will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Little School Restoration Project.
