State Police report that 24-year-old Bethany Dias was delivering newspapers at around 6:30 a.m. when she lost control of her 2004 Dodge Durango on Route 181, also known as the Mariaville Road.

Police say the vehicle failed to negotiate a corner and Dias over-corrected.  The SUV went off the right hand side of the road and rolled over. Dias was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.  State Police say the SUV landed on top of Dias and she died at the scene. Speed and alcohol are not considered to be a factor.

Dias was on her second day of her newspaper delivery route. The accident remains under investigation.
