Aroostook County Man Charged For Assault in Store Parking Lot

A Presque Isle man wanted by police since last December for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend in a local parking lot has finally been arrested.

Presque Isle Police and Aroostook County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 28-year-old Wallace Endy, Jr. on Thursday at his workplace in Westfield.

Police say Endy assaulted his girlfriend in the Marden's parking lot in Presque Isle on the morning of December 13, 2013.  At the time, Presque Isle police said the woman suffered massive bruising to her face and body.  Endy also allegedly splashed diesel fuel on the victim.

He was indicted earlier this year on charges of aggravated assault and violations of conditions of release.
