Dry those eyes, Arianators: Ariana Grande is opening the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.

After bursting out with the year's most mesmerizing dancefloor jams, it's been officialyl been declared that the 24-year-old singer will be signaling her return to pop once over as the opening act of the annual music gathering.

Billboard endorsed the announcement, confirming her appearance on Twitter Thursday (May 3) in the form of behind-the-scenes promo footage, shown above, captioning the video with lyrics to Grande's "No Tears Left to Cry" written its upside-down fashion. Grande, too, supported the news and her imminent arrival to the BBMA stage with a retweet.

The news arrives a day after Grande's takeover of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she delivered a prismatic and airy exhibition of her brand-new single for its television premiere.

Following Grande's showcase is a host of A-list acts, including Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, BTS, and English vocalist Dua Lipa, who crashes the BBMA stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for her first performance on a U.S. award show.

Hosted by Kelly Clarkson, the 2018 Billboard Music Awards will broadcast live Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
