Police in Windham have declared Windham High School safe after another bomb scare.

According to the Portland Press Herald, the school was locked down and evacuated today in response to a bomb threat.

School administrators said that they learned of the threat after most of the students had already gone home for the day. It was after 2pm, but officials still took the precaution to evacuate remaining staff and students, and alert the police.

Windham Superintendent Sanford Prince tweeted that the police completed a sweep of the building and didn't find anything dangerous.
