Sponsored by Momentum Aroostook ‘All Aboard the Polar Express’ was inspired by the popular Disney movie ‘The Polar Express.’ The event will offer 40 minutes rides on the Presque Isle Historical Society’s Molly the Trolley through town looking at holiday lights.

Next stop, kids and their families will enjoy meet and greet with Santa Claus at the Wintergreen Arts Center. Also at the center guests can enjoy a hot cocoa and cookies. On the way back, participants will receive their very own jingle bell as a souvenir.

‘We’re very excited to be providing a fun holiday event like this for local families that is no doubt going to create some wonderful memories,’ Scott Violette, Momentum Aroostook Steering Committee Chair, said. ‘These types of holiday rides are done in other parts of the state and country and our group felt it was important to bring this family-friendly holiday opportunity close to home. We’re pleased to be partnering with UMPI, Wintergreen, and the historical society to put together this really special night.’

Tickets are $5 per person and will go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 27 at the Wintergreen Arts Center.
