Adele's record-smashing "Hello" won Record Of The Year at the 2017 Grammy Awards tonight (Feb. 12). The win was Adele's fourth award of the night following the distinctions of Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Song Of The Year.

The song faced off against Beyonce's "Formation," Lukas Graham's "7 Years," Rihanna and Drake's "Work," and Twenty One Pilots' "Stressed Out" for the prestigious award.

The British singer-songwriter gave co-writer Greg Kurstin a chance to deliver his acceptance speech after he was ceremoniously cut off by the show producers when they accepted the award for Song Of The Year.

"Hello" was the first single of Adele's comeback album, 25, and sold nearly 12.3 million copies globally by the end of 2015. It was also the first song to sell over a million copies in one week.

Hosted by James Corden, the 59th annual Grammy Awards ceremony took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 12, broadcast live on CBS. The 2017 Grammy Awards nominees were announced on December 6, with a tribute performance to Prince.
