Maine's Matt Mulligan will be working on this Thanksgiving Day. The Detroit Lions tight end has got some blocking duties today as his Lions host the Minnesota Vikings in a very important NFC North holiday showdown.

Mulligan has been with the Lions for two games now after signing a free agent contract.

He has been in the NFL for eight years. Detroit is his 8th team.

Mulligan's success is quite a story considering he never played football at PVHS in Howland and only started playing the sport at Husson University before transferring to UMaine.
