FRANKFORT, Maine (AP) — Authorities in Waldo County are investigating two fatal crashes that happened in neighboring towns.

The county sheriff's office says the first crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday in Frankfort, when a car rolled over, killing the 29-year-old male driver. No one else was in the vehicle.

The second crash happened around 5 a.m. in Prospect, when a car carrying four people crashed going around a corner near the Penobscot Narrows Bridge. A man and woman died, and two other men were hospitalized with serious injuries.
