In celebration of what would have been Tupac Shakur’s 46th birthday (June 16), hitmakers the J.U.S.T.I.C.E League released a lyrics video featuring two of hip-hop's late icons 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G’s “Freestyle at the Table” audio over their stellar productions.

Before their infamous bicoastal war, 2Pac and Biggie were actually good friends. The audio is taken from an interview reportedly conducted by filmmaker Spike Lee. It features the two rappers in much happier times freestyling and sipping on drinks.

In the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League lyrics video above, their verses are spelled out over a mellow groove that consists of a head-nodding beat, twangy guitars, whistling synthesizers and keyboards.

‘Pac is hesitant to spit a freestyle at first but then does it so effortlessly lyrics and saluting his homie Biggie.

“I got my n---- B-I to the G beside me / Bitches on my d--- you know them hoes wanna rob me / And my other homies out here like Spike Lee / They got the camera on a n---- guess they like me,” he raps.

B.I.G. follows along and raps about money, cash and women. “Money, hoes and clothes / Blunt smoke comin’ out the nose is all a n---- knows / Flippin' on foes, puttin' tags on toes / Watchin' the stash grow, clockin the cash flow,” he spits.

The song ends with a sermon from the late Tupac Shakur over a solemn piano groove.
