The Nordic Heritage Sport Club will once again host the festival, billed as a “celebration of community, trails and lifestyle,” from Friday, July 29 to Saturday, July 30.

Featured events include biathlon races, youth mountain bike and youth trail running races on Saturday morning. The 6-hour race continues all afternoon while the festival offers large inflatables, face painting, carnival games, kid's bike decorating and more for the whole family.

Bands scheduled to perform are “Bottles & Strings,” which includes members of Strings of Calamity and the Dark Hollow Bottling Company. They will be followed by Dominic and the Lucid and The Suitcase Junket.

Camping at the Nordic Heritage Center is free for racers and $5 dollars per person for all other festival-goers.

The Nordic Trail Festival is open to all ages and ability levels and spectators are welcome. Volunteers are also needed – email info@nordicfattire.com
