From a Prince celebration with the Roots to performances from Future and Desiigner and more, tonight (June 26) will be one of the biggest BET Awards shows in years at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

After his untimely passing in April, Prince will be celebrated with performances of his songs from the Roots, Sheila E., D’Angelo and Janelle Monae. One of the more interesting moments on the stage will be when both Future and Desiigner perform at different times. Since dropping his song "Panda," the latter has been criticized for sounding similar to Future. We're sure the camera will be pointing right in his direction when Desiigner takes the stage.

When it comes to seating, Nicki Minaj has a spot in the center seat in the front row. Lil Wayne will be posted up just one row in front of Young Thug. And as far as presenters, DJ Khaled will be dropping some major keys when he announces a winner during the 16th annual show.

But the biggest event of the evening will be when the winners are announced in categories ranging from Best Male Hip Hop Artist to Best Collaboration. Drake leads all nominees with nine nods. The Toronto native will compete against Fetty Wap, Future, J. Cole, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist while in the Video of the Year category, he's nominated twice for "Hotline Bling" and his appearance in Rihanna's "Work."Bryson Tiller's "Don't," Kendrick's "Alright" and Beyonce's "Formation" are also nominated.

For Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Lil' Kim, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Remy Ma and Dej Loaf will be vying for the win. On the Best Group tip, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, Drake and Future, Puff Daddy and the Family, Rae Sremmurd and The Internet are all nominated. Big Sean's "No Games" with Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign, Future's "Where Ya At" featuring Drake, the Beyonce-assisted Nicki Minaj track "Feeling Myself," Rihanna's "Work" with Drake and Big Sean's "One Man Can Change the World" with Kanye West and John Legend get nods in the Best Collaboration category.
