One of the great things about living in Aroostook County is that people really come together and help out in a time of need. People put their differences aside to help out for the good of the community. It's endearing really.

Two Aroostook County hospitals have joined forces to help Feed the County. The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle and Cary Medical Center in Caribou have come together to help replenish area food pantries this month.

The Hospitals Against Hunger Food Drive will kick off this Saturday, May 10th, and continue for two weeks, with more than a dozen drop-off locations and events planned in central Aroostook where non-perishable food item donations will be accepted.
